I worked as a Electronic technician and Electronic engineering testing the Apollo spacecraft at north American Aviation S&ID Downey. Apollo 1 SC 009, 2tv1 Apollo 15 and a long of others. I have written a 56 page remembrance of my time their. That should give you an Idea of my time their. The documents were classified then so I didn’t take any because I didn’t want to go to prison. I did have a photo taken in the plant next to Apollo 15 when I was testing the insertion loss and VSWR of the S band antenna. Anthony Vidana I have made several YouTube. make a comment on one of my YouTube;s and I can

The Northrup Grumman Test Conductor shown above is Ed Smith. I was a Grumman Integration Engineer responsible for the Countdown and spent many hours in the ACE room with Ed.

    Hi to the Florida Chapter!
My name is Piers Bizony. I am a space historian, currently working officially with NASA, via international art publishers TASCHEN, on a large-format book marking the Agency’s 60th anniversary next year. The book will be published in Fall 2018, and I am the overall project editor/writer/picture researcher.

In return for copies of the $200 book, and a huuuuge credit, I am looking for willing Mercury, Gemini and Apollo contractor alumni with grrrreeeat and ideally rare contractor promotional materials, diagrams, colour art works, concepts – something that gives a visually superb idea of the work that went into designing these great vehicles before NSA got ahold of the final, constructed machines. Please get in touch!

    With all best wishes,
